Steps to setup FTP in Filezilla
Step1. Open Filezilla
This tutorial assumes you already have FileZilla running on your computer but have not connected to a remote server, if not please Download and Install it.Open FileZilla
2. Create New Folder
Select the File menu and then select Site manager.You can add your site information here. There are two options: New site and New folder. A folder is useful when you want to group your work or personal websites to separate the website types.
Click New folder.
Type the desired name.
Step 3. Connect to FTP
Click on New site.Now type your ftp host name here (usually ftp.yourwebaddress.com.au).
If you have a custom ftp port, you can type that here. If you donโt know what it is, just leave it blank.
Select SFTPS under protocol here.
Select Normal to log in with a username and password.
Now enter your Username and Password here, this is provided to you by us.
Step 4. Connect and Disconnect
To connect to your site, select This button.Thatโs it! We are now connected to the remote server, and login details are saved for quicker connections in the future.
To disconnect you can simply click This button.
Or click On server.
Click Disconnect.
